Estle Warren Sadorus, 86, a longtime resident of St. Anthony, passed away April 28, 2014, in the Great Oaks Assisted Living Center in Rigby.
Estle was born Jan. 10, 1928, at Heman, Idaho, the son of Jesse Ray Sadorus and Rachel Fanny Mason Sadorus.
He served in the U.S. Army as a medical supply clerk and was stationed in Japan.
He married Bonnie Whitaker on Aug. 20, 1950, in Rigby, Idaho. They lived in Egin, St. Anthony, Yellowstone Park and Cody, Wyo. He retired from the Yellowstone Park Service after more than 20 years of service as a roads supervisor. Mrs. Sadorus passed away Sept. 7, 1998.
He is survived by four sons, Estle Don (DaNae) Sadorus, of West Bountiful, Utah; Jesse Ray Sadorus and Bret W. Sadorus, both of St. Anthony, Idaho and Dale W. Sadorus, of Rigby; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
At Estle's request, no formal services only military graveside services will be conducted Saturday, May 3, 2014, in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of the St. Anthony VFW Post 9425 and American Legion Post 22. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VFW organization. Condolences to the family may be sent to
