Linda Rowbury Obituary

Linda Clark Rowbury, 38, passed away June 22, 2011, in Murray, Utah, following complications of pregnancy.
Linda was born to Edland D. and Donna Clark on Jan. 13, 1973, in Daly City, Calif., and was raised in St. Anthony. She graduated from South Fremont High School and attended Ricks College, where she earned an associate's degree. During this time she worked at Eastern Idaho Credit Union. Linda then moved to Logan, Utah, to attend Utah State University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in finance.
Linda met Brad Rowbury while living in Logan, and they were married May 15, 1999, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.  They made their home in Providence, Utah, where Linda worked for USU Charter Credit Union, as the branch manager in Providence.
Brad and Linda have four beautiful children: Carter Bradley (10), Ryen Paige (6), Jack Evan (2) and newborn Charlie Linda. Linda was a wonderful mother and embraced life through her children. They were truly the light of her life and she thrived on making them feel special.
Linda loved holidays that allowed for opportunities to spend time with her family. She enjoyed softball, scrapbooking pictures of family adventures, and could always be heard screaming words of support from the sidelines as her children participated in soccer, basketball, swimming, dance, etc.  She was known for her clever sense of humor and quick wit. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her husband Brad, her children, her parents, and her siblings: David Clark, Lynn Clark, Lisa (Dave) Jensen, Susan (Judd) Crapo, Craig Clark, and Mari Ann (Ronald) Birch, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Charles and Steven Clark.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 E. 400 North, Logan, Utah. A viewing will precede the funeral, which will be held at the Providence Stake Center, 180 S. 485 West, Providence, Utah, on Friday, July 1, 2011, from 9 to 9:45 a.m.  The funeral will begin at 10 a.m. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Pine View Cemetery, in Ashton, located half a mile east of Ashton, on Highway 47. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com.

LInda has been the heart and face I've looked into for many many years as I utilized the services of the USU credit union. Always cheerful and full of fun when I borrowed for an old antique car, boat or airplane. Though our association was always business, I counted her as a friend. The loss to the Rowbury family is unimaginable. I am only one of hundreds who knew her through her services at CCU. May God bless her and her family as I know he will. ]

I grew up in the same neighborhood with Linda, we went to the same church and we had siblings the same age - I am really sad, she was always so nice to me, a really wonderful person

Linda was my best friend I had to leave when my family moved to Utah. I remember telling my parents with conviction that if they made me leave Linda, I would never make another friend in my life. That was in the 4th grade. I lost contact with Linda until I saw her while we were both attending USU. I was so happy to see her - she's one of those people you haven't seen for years and can pick up right where you left off. I just wanted you to know that I thought of her often - she had an unforgettable spirit full of love and fun. I will always be grateful that she was a part of my life and will often think of, and pray for her sweet family.

To the Clark/Rowbury family:

My heart is full of grief for your family. I only knew Linda through association as a customer at the Credit Union. She always made me laugh! I probably wasted too much of her time when she was supposed to be working, but she wanted to know about my kids whom she had helped with loans, etc. We especially enjoyed talking about Disneyland.

She is no longer around to visit that happy kingdom, but she is in a Kingdom of far greater worth now. Thank goodness for the gospel which can strengthen us as we await the joyful reunion with loved ones beyond the veil. May your family be blessed through the Comforter until you meet again.

You don't know me, but our family was in the waiting room for my sister's husband, and I talked with one of the nieces' husband who lives in Provo. So sorry to hear about Linda but she sounds like an awesome person and she obviously has a great family and support system. It's hard to understand why a young mom would be taken...my brother lost his 24 year old wife to a pregnancy-related blood clot and left a 2 year old and 8-day old...but we have to trust in Heavenly Father because He knows what we don't. Love and good wishes to your family at this very difficult time and I know that little baby will be cherished.

Dear Rowbury Family,
My sincere condolences are extended to you. Linda and I were friends through the Credit Union and the Cache Education Foundation. She helped me with giving "Hats Off" awards to teachers at Nibley Elementary last year. She was so much fun and a friend from the start. She was also very proud of her children. She had photos in her office and she beamed when speaking of them. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Linda~ I will miss you tremendously~

Brad and Family, our hearts are breaking for your loss. I loved watching Ryen play soccer, when she would tuck her head down and go after the ball for all she was worth! I imagine she got that determined passion from Linda, who was always making people laugh and inspiring others with her kindness and genuine love for God, her family and life. May the love and peace of God be with you at this time.

Dear Rowbury and Clark family, Linda was my cousin whom I am sad to say I didn't have the opportunity to get to know very well. From all the things I have heard since her passing I have gotten to know her better through all of you. What a wonderful woman, wife, mother, friend, sister and daughter she was. I know she will be greatly missed and my heart goes out to you Brad and your four beautiful children. May the Lord Comfort and bless you in your time of sorrow. Having the gospel in our lives is such a blessing to know that we will be with our family and loved ones again someday in the etrernities. Love, Cousin Mariel Allshouse.(Linda's Dad, Eddie and my Mom, Elina Clark Hathaway, were brother and sister).

Linda,

How sad I was to hear of your passing. I can't imagine the pain your family must be feeling or the hole your leaving has created.

You were so fun to work with. Your quick smile, fun sense of humor, and easy friendship made my short time at USUCCU so much fun. You worked so hard for the credit union but I always knew that your family was your first priority. I know they know how much you love them. See you soon, my friend, and may the Lord bless you and your family until you are together again.
