Vilda Ann Orgill, Peterson, Bowen, 84, passed away Nov. 7, 2013, at her home in Rexburg, following a lingering illness.

Vilda was born March 22, 1929, at Antelope, Duchesne County, Utah, the daughter of William Theodore and Mary Giles Larson.
At a young age, the family moved to St. Anthony where she attended Lincoln and Central Elementary, and graduated from South Fremont High School in St. Anthony.
She married Elmo Orgill June 3, 1947, in St. Anthony. They lived near Ashton, St. Anthony and Parker. Mr. Orgill died March 19, 1970.
Vilda then married Elmo Clinton Peterson Feb. 14, 1979, in Island Park. They lived in Rexburg, and served a mission in Australia. Mr. Peterson died Sept. 29, 1997.
She then married Grant Bowen in 2000, in Rexburg. He passed away in 2002.
She is survived by two children, Ted E. (Sheila) Orgill, of Rigby and Brenda Lee (David Payne, of Blackfoot; two brothers, Edwin Larenzo Larson, of Parker and Don Coy (Janice) Larson, of St. Anthony; eight grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Thea Ives; four brothers, George Larson, Hal T. Larson, Cleon Rhodehouse and Gene Rhodehouse; two sister-in-laws, Myrna Larson and Gayle T. Larson; and one brother- in-law, Ray Ives.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Rexburg 17th LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Israel Palafox officiating. Friends may call at the church located at 845 West 7th South Thursday from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., just prior to the services. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of the Bidwell Funeral Home.
