Jane Flitter Douglas passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 10, 2012 in Reno..

Jane is survived by her daughters; Kristin (Mrs. Edward Madsen) of Parker, CO and Bobbi (Mrs. Kenneth Mason) of Howell, MI, and is survived by her 5 grandchildren; Loryn, Katelyn, Chase, Dawson and Dylan.

Jane was born in Mankato, MN on September 27, 1940 to parents Lorin and Irene Flitter. She was the fourth child. She leaves her sister, Judy Flitter Little, Ocala, FL, and was preceded in death by her parents and two other sisters, Joan Flitter Hyman & Janet Flitter Holt.

Jane was a graduate of the University of Minnesota. Her graduate work was in sociology, and she worked for many years for the State of Nevada. Most recently, Jane was a drug & alcohol counselor for a private corporation. She loved the beauty of the world and all it had to offer. She was surrounded by mountains and lakes in Nevada, and enjoyed family reunions in Destin, FL with her family. Jane professed her love of Jesus Christ at a young age, and is now enjoying the everlasting love and forgiveness she was promised.
