Myrna Gayle Allen
Myrna Gayle Allen age 62 passed away on May 13, at 2 am at Renown Medical Center in Reno, NV. Born on October 24, 1951 to Cecil and Velma Boone in Wichita, KS. A Sparks resident for 26 years. She is survived by her husband Russell W Allen, daughters Alyssa (Jake) Lightfoot, Rianna (Jud) Domenici and grandchildren Stella Rose, Sophia and Brenden Domenici, and three sisters who live in Kansas, Janet (Jerry) Fager, Carolyn (Bob) Eckhardt and Lori (Rusty) Armstrong. Myrna battled Metastatic Breast cancer for 9 years. She did this with dignity and grace, never once complaining or wanting to be treated special or coddled in any way. She joined God and Christ on her terms and fought to the very end. Family and friends knew her as a caring and loving mother, a soul mate for eternity with warm smile and with a big heart. She was always up for an adventure with a daring spirit and strong will. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to "Moms on the Run" - Reno, NV. Services will be held at Walton's Sparks Funeral Home this Sunday, May 18 at 3 pm. Please leave your condolence messages in the Book of Memories at www.waltonsfuneralhomes.com.
