I worked with Alex in Oregon. He challenged me to reach higher and to achieve more. I learned of his passing today.
While viewing the Acura of Reno website, I questioned why he wasn't listed as a member of the team. I Googled his name and was absolutely shocked and saddened to learn of his passing.
Mr. Cho and family, I mourn your loss and fondly remember the opportunity I had to work with Alex. Offering you sincerest condolences and greatest sympathy.

This last week we returned to Acura of Reno to replace our 2010 MDX that was totaled in a terrible automobile accident. I remembered Alex from 2011 when he helped us purchase our car and I did notice he was not there this last week. Last night I read a posting on FB offering condolences to the Cho family and it made me feel so sad. Alex was such a fine young man and certainly taken from his family far too soon. We lost a little granddaughter in 2004 and the pain of that loss is still with us every day. Please know Michael, Joanne and all of the Cho family that you will always be in our prayers. We will only purchase and service cars at Acura of Reno because of the kindness, professionalism and service we have received from everyone there over these last few years including Alex. May God bless you all and keep you in His care. We are so sorry to learn of this terrible event in your life.

My wife and I met Alex a couple years ago when we bought our Acura from him. We just heard the news and we feel shocked and deeply saddened. We are so sorry for your loss, we can not even begin to tell you how badly we feel for your family. You will be in our prayers. While we did not know your son well, it was obvious he was very smart, very ambitious, and a young man of moral fiber. I am sure you are incredibly proud of him. We shared some stories with each other about working with our families and I know it was a source of deep pride for him. All our thought and prayers are with you, god bless.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to lose a son to cancer as I recently lost my baby to leukemia in April. They are with God now. Peace to you and your family.

I miss him everyday. In the early years 08-10 here at the dealership, there were tense moments when I felt I wasn't living up to his expectations. A lot of closed door meetings when he'd re assure me that I was getting in the way of myself, and that I was moving in the right direction. Even when I tried to walk away because I wasn't meeting my own expectations in January 2012 he assured me that I was moving in the right direction and with his help, guidance and commitment we'd together achieve. A true leader at such a young age. I treasure every battle, every tear, every moment we spent together.

The day Alex walked into my gallery and my life I knew that we would be friends. Alex loved art and people and people in art - which was reflected in his choices. He holds a very special place in my heart as a patron of the arts and a very dear friend. He brought sunshine into the gallery for all of us when he came in to visit and spend a few minutes sometimes just browsing. His visits will be missed by all of us. I am glad to have known Alex and to be a part of his life. Christel Citko
