Alice Ann Stewart

Our beloved Aunt Alice Ann Stewart passed away in her sleep on May 8, 2013 at her residence in Reno, NV after suffering from an illness for the past several months.
She was born on January 9, 1919 in Moab, Utah to Harry Snow and Mabel Schmelz and joined her two older sisters Dorothy and Margaret. Later her younger brother Victor rounded out this happy family.
Alice grew up in Southern California and graduated from UCLA
with a BA in Economics. She held many occupations which some were etymological researcher, tutor, tennis instructor, economic analyst and legal secretary and office manager for ABC-TV on-air advertising. She moved from California to Mesa, Arizona to spend most of her retirement years until she moved in with family in Reno, NV in 2009.
She was always a happy person who was a delight to be around. Throughout her life she was a folk dancer, instructor and was known as Pixie the Clown and started the Luv Clowns in Mesa, AZ. She always lit up the room when she entered it and cared very much for others which she showed through her donations and charity work to various organizations.
Alice is survived by nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews of the Harlow Family, George Family, Snow Family and Smith Family, step children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of the Stewart Family and Fenwick Family.
A "Celebration of Life" Service is being held at The Unity Center, 2207 Kings Row, Reno, NV 89509 on May 24, 2013 at 2pm. A small reception will be held afterwards. Donations should be given to
