Anthony "Tony" Giannotti passed into the loving arms of his savior, Jesus Christ on November 4, 2013. Tony was born September 14, 1925 to Anthony and Grace Giannotti, Sr., in San Bruno, CA.

Tony was a world war II Veteran and served on the U.S.S. Carmick from 1942-1947. He was a Gunner's Mate 3rd Class. He also served as an Honor Guard at the White House under President Truman, as well as a guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns.

Tony worked for the U.S. Post Office where he met and married the love of his life, Alice P. Vannoy. After retirement in 1981, they enjoyed 43 years of love and laughter together.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Alice, two sons David and Daniel Giannotti, stepchildren Sandra Cavanagh, Susan Dunham, Robert Vannoy and their families. Tony is also survived by numerous and adoring Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. He had many great friends from the Alf Sorensen swimming pool and enjoyed a great game of pool with his close buddy, Steve Jackson.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Ross, Burke and Knobel Mortuary, 2155 Kietzke Lane, Reno, NV with a reception following the at the Mortuary.
