Earl Ray Henderson entered into eternal life on March 22nd. Earl was born in Fort Collins, CO to parents Thomas Alvin and Wanda Pauline on April 13, 1951.

Earl graduated from Satanta High School, Kansas in 1969. From there, he entered into the United States Coast Guard, where he served on a Cutter ship and traveled to many foreign areas. Earl was honorably discharged from military service in 1974. He made his home in the Salt Lake City, UT area and in 1990, he moved with his family to Reno, NV. Earl spent 40 years as a heavy equipment and diesel engine mechanic. Because of his love for exploring new places, he did a stint as a long haul truck driver. Between his military service and truck driving, Earl was able to see 48 of the 50 states, which had always been his dream.

Earl married Deborah Tate and had six children. Earl and Deborah divorced many years later and Earl remarried a second time to Gina Hathaway. Earl was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Earl is survived by his children Kimberly Buell of Reno, Jamie Davis of Silver Springs, Jason Henderson of Sparks, Brad Henderson of Reno, Ginger Hawk of Fernley, Chad Henderson of Sparks as well as 17 grandchildren and brother Guy Robert Henderson.

Services will be held at the Spanish Springs Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 04/01/13 at 11:00 a.m. The building is located at 935 Mercedes Dr. in Sparks.
