Harold H. Brown passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was many things to many people. Always the optimist and charmer. His glass was half full every single time.

Born in New Braunfels, Texas to Nan and Robert Brown, he joined the US Army during WWII and served in the 3184th Signal Battalion being stationed in France and Belgium.

After WWII ended he was honorably discharged but reenlisted during the Korean War in the US Navy and served aboard the U.S.S. Romulus as a Radioman.

After the Korean war ended, he stayed in Asia and worked for the RCA company working to build Telecommunications Systems.

There he met his wife Hsien-Yi Tseng in Taiwan and moved back to the United States having 4 children and a career as an Electronics Engineer at the US State Department in Washington D.C. for over 20 years.

He enjoyed reading, gardening and tinkering in his retirement, moving to Reno in 1990 after many family visits here in the 70's and 80's always commenting on how nice the weather in Reno was.

Recently, he found peace and comaraderie in joining the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and always looked forward to Services and helping out with Ward functions.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Hsien-Yi, children Michael, Roberta, Mischele and Bruce. As well as sister Phyla Maude, brother David, nephews Dennis, Kyle and Jeff, grandchildren Carrie, Ryan, Allie, Stephanie, D.J., Amy and Keely as well as all their families.
