Lucille Stanovich (Kyle) Gaddis

Born May 29, 1932

Passed away Oct. 31, 2012

Lucille left this world peacefully, surrounded by family members. She was born in Oakland, CA to Alex and Louise Kyle, the fourth of five sisters. She graduated from Holy Names Central High School, and worked as St. Augustine's parish secretary before marrying John P. Gaddis, an Army corporal. They were stationed in New Jersey, Arkansas, Hawaii and upstate New York before settling in Sparks, NV in 1968. She first worked in Sparks for a school cafeteria and then spent several years taking ads for the Big Nickel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Louise and her eldest son Bob. Lucille is survived by her husband John; her children: Steve, Dan, Sue and John; and her sisters Anne, Alexa, Janice, and Shannon; as well as 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Highly devoted to her family, her patience, compassion, acceptance and good humor will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Memorial mass will be held Sat. Nov. 10 at 10:00am, at Our Lady of Snows Catholic Church, 1138 Wright St., Reno NV, 89509, followed by a family gathering. Internment will be at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, NV at a future date.
