Eugenia "Genie" Raye Foreman died on Monday, August 15, 2011 after lengthy illness at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. She was 66 years old. Her husband of 43 years, Stanley, was with her when she passed away. Genie was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and lived in Sparks, Nevada for 33 years.

Genie was preceded in death by her parents Emile Eugene and Ruby Lacobie Wilcox. She is survived by her husband Stanley Foreman; grown children Amy, Christina "Nina", and Eric; grandchildren Nathan, Hannah, and Elise; brothers Lionel "Lonnie", and William; and nieces and nephews.

Genie was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Air Force.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Final Wishes Funeral Home located at 437 Stoker Avenue, Reno, Nevada inside the Mountain View Cemetery. She will be interred at a later date at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association or the UC Davis Medical Center.
