Arthur Morrison Obituary
Arthur D. Morrison passed away in Reno on March 6, 2013. He was born in Somerville, MA on April 19, 1938 to Arthur & Rita Morrison. Arthur has been a resident of Sparks for the past 12 years coming from Coronado, CA. He married Shirley in Las Vegas in 1963. Arthur loved to play golf, put puzzle's together and loved Hot Augusts Nights. He was a parishioner at St. Therese Church of the Little Flower.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur & Rita; brother Richard and daughters Sherilee and Barbara.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons Patrick (Estela) and Jeff ; daughters Debra (George) and Dawn (Larry). Sisters Dorothy and Patricia as well as 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be Monday, March 18, 2013 at St. Therese Church of the Little Flower at 10am. Inurnment will follow at 1:00 pm at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada. Northern Nevada Memorial Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.

Art was my neighbor and was a great man. I always loved being around him. He was funny and nice and a man who never gave up on life. I would always look forward to coming over and helping him out with whatever he needed help with. No matter what life threw at Art, he always found a way to overcome it. I will miss him so much and now I will be here for Shirley whenever she needs me. It is going to be sad without him here. R.I.P Art

Art will be missed by all, he was a funny guy who looked at life with no regrets. He had a strong will and never gave up, his story's were always full of some kind of humor,never forgotten. R.I.P Arthur
