Born July 17th 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, Frank Roy Pulice Jr. passed away on July 26th, 2013 in Reno, NV. He was 78.
Frank received his BS Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois. Frank served in the U.S. Army, stationed at the Presidio in San Francisco, CA. He married Dolores Pulice in 1961. Frank remained in the Bay Area and started the firm Murphy-Pulice Associates in San Francisco, CA. Frank and Dolores resided in San Anselmo, CA - Marin County, there they raised their two children, Theresa Pulice and Anthony Pulice. Frank was the past President and Director of the San Francisco Columbus Day Celebration & Italian Heritage Parade.
Frank Joined the Knights of Columbus at the age of 18 and has proudly served them for nearly 60 yrs. He was elected to the office of California State Deputy in 1978. Frank served the order of the K of C as the Supreme Director. He was then appointed as the Regional Program Consultant for the West Coast. He has served the Calif. State Council in all its corporations: Columbian Charities, the Columbian Foundation for the Mentally Retarded Children, and is the past President & CEO of the Columbian Retirement Home, LLC. Recently resigned from this position, Frank was named Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Columbian Retirement Home.
Preceeding Frank Pulice, Jr. in death were his wife Dolores Pulice and his son Anthony Pulice. He is survived by his only daughter Theresa T. Pulice of Reno and his two grandchildren, Charles W.R. Fielder and Christina M. Fielder, both of Reno.
A Catholic mass for Frank will be held on Sat. Aug. 17th at 11am, at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church - 1138 Wright Street, Reno NV, 89509.
