California native Ernest David Vargas III, also known as "Ernestito," "Dave" and "Ernie", 34, passed away after being struck by a hit and run vehicle, Thursday, November 8th, 2012 in Sparks, NV.
Ernestito was born April 7th, 1978 in Quito, Ecuador to Zoila and Ernest Vargas.
He is survived by his little sister Mery, his nephew Mateo, his niece Soraya and his parents.
Ernestito was part of the IBEW union brotherhood and took pride in his work as an electrician. He was also an avid art lover, sports fan, and music enthusiast. Ernie had a strong wit, outgoing personality, and was passionate about everything he talked about and did.He was known for his big heart and spreading laughter to whomever crossed his path. We will all miss him terribly but we will always have him in our hearts.
A public Viewing & Rosary will be held at Ross, Burke, & Knobel Mortuary in Reno, Nevada, 2155 Kietzke Lane, on Nov. 14, 2012, from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral mass and burial will be held, with time and day pending. Please visit www.waltonsfuneralhomes.com for more information.
