Ernest Peter Bazzini

Ernest Peter Bazzini, 90, of Reno, passed away November 25, 2011. He was born June 4, 1921 in Wadsworth, NV to Severino and Maria (Rezzani) Bazzini. Ernie served in the United Air Force during W.W.II, Korean Conflict, and Vietnam wars. He continued his military career with the Air National Guard for 36 years, retiring in 1980 as Senior Master Sergeant. He was a member of VFW Post #9211 in Reno.
Ernie was preceded in death by his sister, Enes Bazzini and brother, John Bazzini.
He is survived by his nieces, Dorothy Stocks and Lois Spencer.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 2nd at 1:00 pm at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, Kings Row and Wyoming Streets. Private interment will take place at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery.
