Dear Doris and Family,
I am sorry for your loss. Larry was a good man and great Technician at AT&T. I really enjoyed working with him. One incident I’ll always remember was when he was getting me unstuck in the Carson sink one of many times. Larry said “Boss, out here when the ground is brown, go around. When it’s white, it’s all right”. That has stuck with me all these years. He’ll truly be missed.

Dearest Doris and family,
Our hearts are so saddened at the loss of our beloved cousin Larry. He brought such joy to all of us for so many years.
Larry and I corresponded with each other many times when he was in the Service. We had not yet met, but through our letters we soon grew to know each other very well. That was the beginning of a wonderful and cherished friendship. Ed was always so pleased that I was writing to a service man, and that the service man just happened to be one of his favorite cousins.
Some years passed and one Sunday afternoon, Larry brought the love of his life to meet us. How very blessed we are now to have all of you as a reflection of his love and wonderful sense of humor.
It was meant to be that all of us were able to be together here in Carson City for the Blanchard Family Reunion just a few days before Larry's passing. Ed would have been so happy to see us all together again, and of course, he WAS with us in spirit.
Our heavy hearts and abundant prayers are with you all.
With much love,
The Ed Blanchard Family

Doris and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you in your time of great loss. Larry quickly became a family figure to me, as a long-lost Blanchard cousin; and through him an exciting journey of genealogy research and reconnection led me to find all of you. Dean and I celebrate Larry's life for all he has meant to you and been to so many others and for the legacy he leaves behind in his magnificent family.
In the love of the Lord Jesus Christ,
Joan & Dean Browne

Dear Doris,
I am so sorry to hear about Larry. He was one of the best men I have ever met. You and Larry were like a mom and dad to Roy and I, and a second set of grandparents to my kids. Larry was truly a gentleman, as I will always remember him opening doors for ladies. The best advice Larry ever gave me was you couldn’t control what other people think. I will always be sorry I never let Larry teach me to dance. We will miss Larry and keep you in my prayers.
Forever Friends,
The Bradbury’s
