Brian Michael Glazner

April 9, 1982

February 10, 2014

Brian Michael Glazner, age 31, passed away on February 10, 2014. Brian was born in Carson City, Nevada, and lived most of his life in Reno, Nevada. He was a graduate of McQueen High School and a current nursing student at Carrington College. Brian was scheduled to graduate in the next few months, and was going to continue his goal to care for and help others. Brian was one of the most compassionate persons you would ever meet, and cared deeply for all those that he loved. Brian's compassion led him into a career of service, including a wild-land firefighter, EMT, ARC Health and Wellness, home health care, and soon to be nurse. He became a Freemason in 2010, following in the footsteps of his grandfather.

Brian had an infectious smile and laugh that immediately made friends. He gave the best bear hugs that warmed you from within, and made all of your troubles melt away. He was a kind soul that is gone far too soon. He was loved by many, and touched the world in a wonderful way. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Betty Bacon; his paternal grandparents, Aubrey Joe and Betty Jo Glazner; his aunt, Beverly Merideth; and his cousin, Jason Glazner. He is survived by his parents, Mitch and Barb Glazner; his sister Michelle Kazmar (Ernie); his son, Tyler; his nephew, Chase; niece, Kenley; his girlfriend, Charlyn; his aunts and uncles; his numerous cousins; and more friends than one can count.

A memorial will be held to celebrate Brian's life on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Masonic Washoe Lodge No. 35, 601 W. Peckham Lane, Reno, Nevada, 89509. All friends are welcome to attend and share memories of Brian. A private inurnment at the Lone Mountain Masonic Cemetery in Carson City will take place for immediate family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Washoe Lodge 35, P.O. Box 256, Reno, Nevada 89504, or to a , in Brian's name.
