January 20, 2014

Paul Cetovick born on October 2, 1924 went home peacefully to join his Heavenly family on January 20, 2014. He was 89 years old.

Paul was born in Lorain, Ohio. He joined the Marines right out of High School and returned home after serving four years and fighting for our country in WWII. He then enrolled in Ohio State where he graduated with a business degree. While attending OSU, he met the love of his life, Aloma Leah Gula. They married in Sept. 1949 and went on to have five wonderful children. While still in Ohio Paul excelled in all that he did. He was a contractor, nite club owner and hospital administrator.

In 1964 Paul and Aloma moved the family to Reno, Nevada where he lived until his death. He also spent some years as a casino executive in Las Vegas before returning to Reno in 1994 to finally retire.

Paul was an avid sports fan who loved his SF 49ers. He also spent countless hours watching baseball which was another one of his loves. He loved going to the casino's where he played his nickle slot machines. And was a faithful player of the lottery. He wanted to win so badly, but sadly never did.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul G. Cetovich and Mary Cetovich (Garwell). He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Aloma and daughters, Marilee Kelly (Keith), and Virginia Krantz. His sons Thomas Cetovick (Andrea), Richard Cetovick (Tamara) and Michael Cetovick. Grandchildren, Kandy, Kimberlee, Kory, Janet Lee, Steven, MariKristen, Nicole, Sherri, Laurie, Scott, Eric, Tamera, Taylor and Kristi.
