William E. Taylor born March 16, 1933 and raised in Creighton, Nebraska. He was the only child of Harriet and Eugene Taylor. He has gone to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ on May 12, 2014.

Bill served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 - 1956. After discharge he moved to Reno, Nevada and worked for NCR for 14 years. Bill then became the Data Processing Manager at Washoe Medical Center for seven years. In 1977 he and his family moved to Lovelock, Nevada and made their home there for 25 years. After retirement he and Sue moved to Fernley for the past 10 years.

Bill met his wife Donna Sue Taylor of 54 years in Reno where they were married in 1960. They had two wonderful sons who he was very proud of, William Taylor, Jr. (Judy Bailey Taylor), Willows, California who gave him two grandchildren, Stacy Lynn Taylor and William Lee Taylor. Second son is Steven R. Taylor (Francine Taylor), Sparks, Nevada who gave him three grandchildren, Jennifer Ray Taylor, Abigail Sue Taylor and Nathan Steven Taylor. Other families whom he felt were his brothers and sisters, William S. and Karen L. Griffith, James T. and Diana Griffith and Alcie Anne Griffith.

Bill enjoyed exploring Nevada ghost towns and immigrant trails. Enjoyed dirt bike riding, flying R/C airplanes, shooting competitively with pistols, building family home in Lovelock. Everything he did was always with his family. After retirement enjoyed traveling all over the western states.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Fernley Free Methodist Church, 100 S. West Street, Fernley, NV at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014 followed by inurnment at the Veteran's Cemetery at 12:00pm.
