Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Lindsay (Allan); grandson, Matthew Lindsay (Shelli); granddaughter, Andrea Sei (Ryan); great-grandchildren E.J. Kindrick, Taylor Sei and Brooklynn Sei; as well as her many nieces and nephews, who she considered her own children, David Howcroft, Darryl Howcroft, Wilma Howcroft, Robert Cummins, Michael Meixner, Bonnie Kuhn, John Meixner, Susan VonNesson, Virginia Armantites, Judith Harrison, Mike Prien and Rocky Boice.

Katie was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Grace Howcroft; her husband, Pancho Alcano; and her siblings, William Howcroft, George Howcroft, Edna Meixner and David Howcroft; as well as her precious great-grandson, Kurtis Lindsay.
