Betty Rasmussen Pass died Sunday, August 3, 2014 at her home in Reno, Nevada.
Born November 9, 1930 in Ely, Nevada, she was the daughter of the late Pearl Sciuchetti Rasmussen and Roy Rasmussen. Betty was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and served in the United States Air Force from October 1952 to August 1959. After she left the service, she worked as a secretary, realtor, and she was active in arts and crafts.
She was cremated and her ashes will be placed in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lawrence Pass of Reno, Nevada (formally of Water Valley), her sister JoAnn Potter of Morgan, Utah and brother Lee Rasmussen of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her brother Alex Rasmussen of Napa, California. Also she is survived by 5 nephews, 4 nieces and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
