Cyril Lloyd Simms, 64, passed away in Reno NV, on December 1, 2009. Lloyd was born on October 27, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA to Mary Grimes and Cyril Simms. Lloyd was a resident of Nevada for 23 years and worked at Model Dairy for the last 20. Lloyd served in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. His most cherished moments were times he spent hunting with his son and vacationing with his wife.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Elizabeth; son, Christopher; daughter-in-law, Erin; grandson, Noah; mother-in- law, Elizabeth Zachar; brothers, Thomas, James and John; sister, Jennie; 17 nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 100 Bishop Manogue Drive, Reno, NV. An interment will follow at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Reno, NV.
