William D. Turner, 77, of Reno passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Life Care Center.

He was born in Checotah, OK on February 24, 1932 and was the second of five children. He joined the Air Force in 1956 and was part of the occupation forces in Japan after WWII. He was in Korea at the start of the Korean War. He was a front line observer at the Chosen Reservoir.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, a brother, and a son. He is survived by Bill J. Turner brother from Muskogee, OK, Mary J. Turner sister-in-law from Port Lucie, FL, Delores Main ex-wife from Reno, NV, David Main son from California, Kathleen Main daughter from Reno, NV.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 1 p.m. in Fernley.
