Ursula B. Miller-born December 9, 1933 in Bad Nauheim, Germany, passed away November 2, 2010 in Reno, Nevada. Ursula immigrated to the United States in 1952;

A certified goldsmith, she began to work for R. Herz & Bros in Reno, Nevada. Also, in 1952 she joined the USO where she met her husband of 54 years, Richard K. Miller.
Richard and Ursula married November 25, 1956 and had two sons; Thomas M. Miller in 1960 and Andrew D. Miller in 1962. A terrific mother and homemaker, Ursula was also excellent in sales and jewelry repair. She started her career in jewelry repair working with her father Martin Steiber. Her brother Eberhard soon joined them at the family jewelry store in Germany. In 1988, her son Andrew married Suzette Wrubel and they had three children, David A. Miller in 1992, Jonathan T. Miller in 1993 and Sarah N. Miller in 1995. After working at R. Herz & Bros for more than 30 years she retired in 1996, to spend more time with her family and friends. Ursula was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Gertrud Steiber of Bad Nauhiem Germany and her son Thomas Miller of Reno, Nevada. Ursula is survived by her husband Richard K. Miller of Reno. She is also survived by her son Andrew D.Miller, and daughter-in-law Suzette A. Miller and three beautiful grandchildren David, Jonathan and Sarah Miller, all of Reno. Ursula is also survived by her brother Eberhard Steiber of Bad nauheim, Germany and his two children Susan and Peter and their children, also of Bad Nauheim Germany.
Services will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 2:00pm at Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary, 2155 Kietzke Ln., Reno, NV. Interment to follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
