Joe Burton, 78, passed away Dec. 23rd at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was born July 25, 1934 to Opal and Orval Burton. A native of Sarcoxi, Missouri, Joe and his wife June moved to Reno in 1964.
Joe was a security officer at various casinos and he also owned a bar until his retirement in 1991.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, his son David and sisters Helen Cook and Mary Lou Seneker, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 4th at 11:00am at Ross, Burke and Knobel Mortuary, 2155 Kietzke Lane Reno 89502.
