Barbara Busch died on Sunday, February 3, at Renown South Meadows. She suffered from a stroke. Born in San Francisco, California in 1946, she moved to Reno, Nevada in 2001. She worked in marketing and research for more than 35 years. Barbara was a member of Business Networking International (BNI) and was very well known in her community of Galena Forest. She was a very active and generous volunteer in Northern Nevada serving as: Big Sister with the Big Brother/Big Sister organization of Reno, Social Director of the Reno Ski and Recreation Club and a Docent at the Nevada Museum of Art. She thoroughly enjoyed travelling, was a gourmet cook and an incredible "foodie". Barbara was an avid 49ers fan and loved to learn new things. Amongst her other hobbies, Barbara was a scuba diver, worked out and skied. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Rolston, grandsons AJ and Jeremy Gbur and sister Shoshana Lash-Rosenberg.
A Memorial Service will be held at Ross, Burke and Knobel Mortuary at 2155 Kietzke Lane on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 3:00pm.
