July ,, 1930

February 13, 2013

Our Father Louie Leo Vannucci passed away February 13, 2013 after a lengthy illness. Louie retired from Sierra Pacific Power Company in 1995. He was a true outdoors man with a passion for hunting, fishing, and his dogs. In his earlier years, he was very involved in square dancing and was a recognized caller. He also served honorably in the U.S. Army Infantry during the Korean War. Louie was born July 2, 1930 in Sparks, NV to proud Italian immigrants, Louis M. and Ravenna who proceeded him in death along with his two sisters Anne (Barbash) and Lilly (Barbettini). Louie is survived by his daughters Salli Vannucci, Tina Vannucci, and Andrea Vannucci White (Robert) and grandsons Cody and Zack. He is also survived by his friend, Debra Johnson and his large extended family in Italy. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Nevada Humane Society. The Vannucci family wishes to thank the staff at Serenity and St. Mary's Hospice for their wonderful care. A private family service will be held at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, NV.
