Guy Ray Faulkner

Guy Ray Faulkner, born July 27, 1935, passed away unexpectedly on September 6, 2013. Guy was raised in North Carolina by parents Guy SR. and Rachel Faulkner who preceded him in death. After high school he enlisted in the Army and served in Korea during the Korean conflict.

While serving in the Army he worked his way up through the ranks to the rank of Captain and earned a high security clearance which allowed him to serve in several embassies in Europe. In the later part of his military career he also served in the investigative branch of the Army.

After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Army, he resided in the Seattle area for a few years before relocating to Nevada where he continued his education by attending McGeorge School of Law. Guy worked with several local law firms over the past 20 years and was most recently associated with David Allen and Associates.

Guy was active in the community as a member in several local social organizations. He served on the Grand Jury as foreman as well as a tribal judge at Pyramid. He was an avid golfer winning several tournaments while playing on a senior league. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a voracious reader.

Guy is survived by Barbara, his wife of 35 years, son Greg (Kim), brothers Lawson (Penny), Marcus (Concha), Pete (Linda), John (Julie) and sister Linda and their families; step-sons Mike (Carolyn) and Steve (Carol), grandson Steve, granddaughter Megan (Andy), great grandson Shawn and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial was held and no services are planned.
