Rod & Robin were our next door neighbors since Sept 2005, when we brought the house next door. They were special friends for those 3 years and we enjoyed their company at our almost annual Mogul Good Neighbors Day BBQ. Our first meeting was a Welcome Gift from Robin, a "Bag of Wood Screws" with the suggestion that they might be needed for our/their fence, since we had two big dogs, as did they. I think Rod took pity on me and didn't invite me back to poker games. Rod wanted to earn his fun money the real way! You were special Rod and many you Rest in Peace. God Bless and may the Great Umpire of all time continue the game.

Rod was one of the most thoughtful and inspirational people I have ever met. I worked with Rod and he was a great example of faith and inspiration when I went through a personal tragedy. I believe that God had brought him in my life to help me along when I struggled. He was a great friend to my son and he will always remember how much he enjoyed playing golf together. Our hearts and prayers go out to Robin and Nicole. I thank the Lord for bringing Rod into my life and look forward to seeing him again.

I am so sorry to hear of Rod's passing. I had the pleasure of visiting Rod several years ago in Cascade. He invited myself and my wife, Debbie to the rustic cabin. Rod signed a posterboard of Major League
ballplayers from California with over
400 signatures on it. Rod shared several stories - especially plating catch with the great Gil Hodges. But what impressed me most was his volunteer work with Reno Childrens Hospital. If there is a Hall of Fame in Heaven, then Rod's definaetly in! May God bless always

Robin and family: So sorry to hear about Rod passing. He was a great guy , with quite a sense of humor. At every poker game we have, Rod always comes up and we share stories. It sounds like you both made the best of life in Idaho. You will all be in our prayers. Sincerely Jim and Michelle
