Eric Nelson Speicher, age 56, of Livingston, passed away in the early morning on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at his home. Per Eric's request a formal funeral will not be held. Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory.
Eric was born on June 25, 1957, in Reno, Nevada. He was the son of Coralee Kraw and James Hardy. Eric was later adopted by his step-father Joseph Speicher. He received his education in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he played basketball and ran track in high school.
On September 23, 1988, Eric was united in marriage to Lorena Bridger, in Hudson, Wyoming. Eric and Lorena resided in Rock Springs, WY. They later moved to Livingston in 1993 when Eric took a job with L.R.C.
Eric was employed at L.R.C. as a welder and later was an apprentice electrician. In 1999 Eric was in a severe motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed. Lorena stayed with Eric to care for him night and day even though they were no longer married.
Eric's passion in life was Harley motorcycles. He loved to be on the road riding, enjoyed music and worked hard and played harder. He loved to be out hanging with friends and having a good time.
Eric will forevermore be in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Eric is survived by his:
Son, Jamie Speicher and his wife Annette of Rock Springs, WY and their son Kyler and a daughter on the way.
Step-daughter, Christina Glenn of Casper, WY.
Mother, Coralee Kewell of Reno, NV.
Sister, Adaire Keith and her husband Dale of Reno, NV.
Half-sister, Ronda Feinblum of Quincy, CA.
Birth-father, Jim Hardy and his wife Linda of Quincy, CA.
Long-time-caregiver, Lorena Barrios and her husband Vince of Livingston.
Many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Eric is preceded in death by his Adoptive father, Joseph Speicher; Step-father, Fred Kewell II; Friend, Terry Stenberg.
