I know its been quite some time, it just always comes back to me. I never let go of the thought of you and not only before certain decisions do I think of what you would say in the end, but I think of ways you would go about those activities, situations or life obstacles. I know you're always around and I never feel like you're ever far away. I will always love and miss you but I incorporate what you tought me and how your way of thinking for the path I've been carving. Love you Dad, I never stop reminiscing.

I can't believe it's been 4 years ago already that you left us Dan. I still can't believe it that you left us so soon. I miss you my friend.

Hi Lisa (and kids),
While we are several decades distanced in time from the Brookline days, I was humbled and saddened to learn about Dan's death back in August. I have many great memories of Dan being a great neighbor and hanging around the garage at Dean Road (which usually led to other various escapades and generally nefarious fun elsewhere), and nobody could make us laugh as hard as he could.

Dan was an integral part of that social whirl with my brother Jeff, and like the bond of friendship in 'Stand By Me,' each guy ended up going their own separate way, slowly losing touch as they grew older and separated by distance, but always somehow holding that shared time together so sacred and dear. We lost brother Jeff on October 1st, and now, with both of them gone, I thought somehow in the end he and Dan could be back together in a different place, whooping it up again, reunited in a lifelong fellowship that transcends the present but always starts off by being a great pair of friends.

Best of luck and good wishes,
Brad Miller

Lisa, DJ, Damien, Alyssa and Nick, I've been friends with your family for over 25 years. Lisa, you and Dan have always been there for me with your encouraging words and advice. Even giving me a car when mine was broken. That was so awesome, playing Bonnie and Clyde and stealing a car. Not really stealing because it was mine, then gave it to me after all.... He signed the title over to me and it became mine at that point. Was a lot of fun going to the location of the vehicle and just putting the keys in it that Dan had given me and driving it away. A real Bonnie and Clyde type of move... it was great fun. Would have never been able to experience something like that if it weren't for you and Dan. I appreciate your never-ending and enduring friendship through the years. I'm so sorry for your loss I know a piece of your heart is gone. Dan will never be forgotten....

All Dan's classmates at the Runkle School in Brookline Massachusetts were so sad to hear of Dan's passing. Dan was a kind and gentle soul. He always had a kind word for everyone and was so much fun to grow up with. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Dear Lisa,I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband, Daniel. Enjoyed when you would come into The Cafe at Rail City. I remember how long you told me you had been married and I remember thinking to myself, now they are true soul mates! Also,I will never thing the same about onion rings again. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Valerie (server @ rail city)
