Christopher Anthony Chaparro passed away on March 31, 2017 surrounded by loving family and friends. Despite his ongoing battle with cancer, Chris always took the time to make sure those around him were taken care of. He was joined in marriage to the love of his life, Samantha Sue Millard, on July 21, 2012. Sammi remained at his side up to the very last moment.
Chris was born in Bishop, California to Catalino Chaparro and Patricia Brown on April 8, 1988. He went to school in Carson City, Nevada where his love of life and his generous heart forged many friendships. His generous heart extended to animals, including his three pit bulls: Vaca, Penny and Vinnie.
Chris is survived by his wife Samantha Sue (Millard) Chaparro, his mother Patricia Brown Finley, his step-father Rob Finley, his father Catalino Chaparro, his brothers Nick and Steven Chaparro, sister-in-law Julie Chaparro, his grandmother Loretta Brown, his father-in-law Ernie Millard, his mother-in-law Mindy Millard, 2 nieces, and many friends and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 8th. Details will be provided by his wife Sammi and mother Tricia.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Nevada Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
The family of Chris wishes to extend our sincerest thanks to the wonderful staff at Renown.
