Savannah Taylor Karten

Karten, Savannah Taylor, 21, of Glen Allen, passed away October 29, 2016. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Silvan I. Karten. She is survived by her parents, Shannon and Luke Karten; sister, Madison Karten; grandparents, Eileen Karten, Sharon and Gary Erichsen; aunts and uncles, Bridget and Steve Morris, Vanessa and Jon Ballou, Derek and Angela Karten, Missi and Paul Faucher, Norma and Jimmy Johnson; cousins, Kevin and Katherine Morris, Sean Morris, Gracie Ballou, Lara and Greg Furst, Dana and Brooke Karten, Ashtyn and Kyra Faucher, many other second cousins, and caring friends. Savannah had a beautiful smile that would light up a room and that was welcoming to all. She attended Deep Run High School and finished her senior year at the Discovery School of Virginia for girls, and was a member of Derbyshire Baptist Church. Savannah was attending Appalachian State University where she was a sophomore and will be forever a Mountaineer. She loved movies, music, hiking and running. She swam for NOVA from 2003-2010 and was a member of River City Crew....
