I've known Johnny for many years, ever since I met his son, Jack in college! I spent many times visiting their family in Richmond.......always great, happy times with them..... what a great family and what awesome people they were! I know they influenced me to be a better Christian and a better person. They are now united in heaven, and I am so blessed to have known Johnny, Beth, and Jack, and their sweet dogs!! On behalf of everyone at Martini & Associates we offer our heartfelt sympathy to John's family and caregiver. Johnny, as he was known, was know by all of his business associates as a true 'Virginia Gentleman'. He was one of a kind, never a bad word was spoken about him. He will be remembered because of his style, smile and soft spoken nature. Personally I will always be thankful for Johnny's friendship with my dad and me. He was a business mentor as well as a mentor for my personal life. He and Beth were family to me, I will always remember them both, with love and affection. God Speed Johnny, I know Beth was waiting at the door of Heaven with these words, 'What took you so long'!
