It is in great sadness that we announce the passing of a tremendous wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her husband Frederick, her sons Nathaniel (Misty), Benjamin (Lisa), Jonathan, her grandchildren Cheyanne, Brooklynne, and Dayton and her vast extended family. There will be a Celebration of Life as she requested on April 6th, 2013. Those wishing to attend are asked to contact the family or email [email protected] for info.

A Sister In-Law can be sour or Sweet - Kind or intimidating, predictable or unknowing..rarely do you find of all of these traits in one package, Yet this is exactly what I found when I first met Kathy. Still protective of her sister Vivian, I felt her warm protection, honesty, and slight hesitance as she accepted me into her family.
My most vivid memories with Kathy are the simple ones - Walking along the lush waking trails near home, picking blackberry's and day trips to the waterside. I have am blessed to be touched by Kathy's shared knowledge, deep discussions and sly humor. She has touched my life in the ways she has shared her confidence, strength and her humanity towards so many. My memories of Kathy will always remain strong when I look at the Cloverdale sunrise, and wild prairie flowers, for she is part of both of these that bring color to your day.

Kathy was the most beautiful soul I have ever known. Her laughter was contagious and her friendship was like a hug...warm and squishy. We will continue to keep the family in our prayers during this difficult time. Love the Macri's

A candle on my window sill
The light flickers in the night
A breeze came in and took the flame
To place it in the sky
For us to see in every night
The brightest new born star.
You are the strongest most amazing woman. Hug my angel for me. Love until we meet again.

Kathy's life is a beautiful memory,
her death is a silent grief.
Now she sleeps in God's warm and beautiful garden, In sunshine of perfect peace.
I miss her oh so much,
but realize God knew best,
He let me have her many years,
Then gently bid her rest.
