COOK, Elizabeth . Born February 14, 1949, North Vancouver, B.C. Succumbed to cancer on June 20, 2015. Predeceased by her husband James Frederick Rhoads in 2007 and her parents John and Jean Cook. Survived by her loving brothers John (Christine), Alex (Cleo) and David (Patti) and her sister Phyllis McNeil (Dan); nephew Gary and nieces Denise (Bill), Jannine (Colin), Tori (Rose), Jana and Jacqueline; grand-nephew Corey and grand-nieces Rachel, Kate, Sophie and Maya; many friends and relatives in Scotland and locally. Memorial Service Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Andrew's United Church, 1044 St. Georges Ave, North Vancouver, B.C. Rev. Judith Hardcastle officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Shore Hospice, the SPCA or a charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated. The family wish to thank the staff at the North Shore Hospice for their loving care of Elizabeth. GOD HAS HER IN HIS KEEPING -WE HAVE HER IN OUR HEARTS

Cope, Vernon S.  
Vern Cope died suddenly at home with his wife of 49 years, Kathy, by his side. Vern's joy of living and sense of humour will be missed by his brothers, Sam and Harry, his children, Paige, Kevin, and Bob, as well as the other members of his family and his friends. Vern grew up in Carlyle, Saskatchewan, lived in various western cities and settled in Tsawwassen for 40 years. Vern was an entrepreneur, he worked in the sawmill industry, with a speciality in sales and had many other endeavours. Vern's love of sports, laughter, friendship, and life inspired those that knew him and he will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers a donation to Delta Hospital, or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated. Please contact friends or family for date of memorial service.

Curley, Kentrell (Kent)  
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Kent Curley in North Vancouver. Survived by his mother Vera Rutledge, wife Janeen (Hunter) and sons Kevin (Cathy), Craig (Dana), daughter Erin (Angelo), grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by his father Stanley and brothers Grant and Craig. Kent's successful career in the paper industry spanned 38 years, where many life long friends were made. Retiring in 1998, Kent re-directed his energies to his many hobbies, including golfing, curling, gardening and love of wine. He will be missed for his enthusiasm, story telling and his ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. A Celebration of Life will be held at University Golf Club, 5185 University Blvd, Vancouver on Friday, July 3rd at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to an animal rescue of your choice.
