Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather stepped into the next room, peacefully at the age of 85. Born in Hamiota, Manitoba he was the last of a line of truly remarkable brothers. He was a true west coast Pioneer. He started his career as a Cessna Pilot flying throughout the province of BC. He co-founded the paving company, BA Blacktop in North Vancouver, Kamloops, Cranbrook and Sechelt. He fulfilled his dream of building his own home on beautiful Bowen Island, where he has lived for the past 30 years. Harold was a family man, full of integrity, and a zest for life. He had a great sense of humor and loved any kind of adventure. Forever remembered by his wife Barbara, daughters Jo-Anne (Michael), Shirley (Hamish) and grandchildren Lucas and Tobi. "We are proud to have loved a man so rare" RIP Young Harold.
No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Shore Hospice.
