Louisa Cammisa, 83, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast.

Born June 10, 1934, in Paterson, N.J., to the late Concetta (Procopio) and Antonio Pugliese, she attended East Side High School in Paterson, N.J. She was a homemaker and worked as a barmaid for most her life at Samra's Pub on McBride Avenue in Paterson.

She is survived by her brother, George Pugliese and his wife, Chickie; his sister in-laws, Josephine and Rose Pugliese, who live in Dunnellon; her daughter, Madaline Cammisa, Punta Gorda; her son in-law, Richard Ponsiek, Manchester Township, N.J.; son, Ronald Cammisa, Arizona; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews who were all loved so much.

Louisa is preceded in death by her husband, Guilo, and two brothers, John and Dominic Pugliese. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Family, friends and others whose lives Louisa influenced and touched are invited to continue to share memories from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Roberts Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017, at Roberts Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Fero Memorial Gardens in Beverly Hills.
