Linda Mae Sedman, 72, of Rockwood, formerly of Dayton, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in Roane Medical Center.
She was born in Dayton on Dec. 19, 1940, and lived there until moving to Rockwood in 1984. She had been employed as an LPN at Rhea Medical Center and also several area nursing homes. She was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Edward Sedman, Rockwood; four daughters, Sandra Harvey (Ray), Oak Ridge, Kaye Sedman, Oak Ridge, Pam Sedman, Rockwood, and Kim Hanson (Brian), Rockwood; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her two brothers, Roy "Buddy" Bunch (Sissy) and James Billy Bunch (Margie), both of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, W.C. Bunch and Jerry Bunch.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Friday, June 28, in Vanderwall Funeral Home chapel, Dayton, with the Rev. Joe Young officiating. She will be laid to rest at Rhea Memory Gardens, Dayton, at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29.
