Bobby Joe Kyle, 81, of Sweetwater, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013.
He was of the Baptist faith, attended the old Cedar Fork Baptist Church, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a well-known dairy farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mattie Kyle; wife, Mary Frances "Sis" Kyle; sisters, Key Kyle, Georgia Mae Kyle, Mary Ruth Kyle and Louise Greene; and brothers, Hargus, Pete, J.D. and Billy Ray Kyle.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Janie Kyle, Dennis Kyle, and Rick and Trina Kyle, all of Sweetwater; grandchildren and spouses, Tim and Angie Kyle, Ten Mile, Brian Kyle, Josh and Carla Kyle, Shelley Kyle, Allie Kyle, Olivia Kyle, Lilly Kyle and Chloe Kyle, all of Sweetwater; great-granddaughter, B.B. Kyle, Ten Mile, sisters: Sue Walker, Sweetwater, Leona Tyler, Lenoir City, and Patricia Milburn, Chattanooga; brother and sister-in-law, Amos Dean and Shirley Kyle, Sweetwater; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nephews, grandsons and cousins served as pallbearers. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, in Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, with the funeral service following at 7 p.m. in Kyker's chapel, with the Rev. Clayton Dunsmore and the Rev. Gerald Perry officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, at Cedar Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
