Morgan Boyd Young, 74, of Rockwood, passed away at his residence on Monday, June 17, 2013.
He was a member of Pond Grove Baptist, Rockwood. He was a retired carpenter. He was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Lillie Mae Young; several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by wife, Yvonne Young, Rockwood; sons, Jim Young, Carmi, Ill., and Terry Wayne Young (girlfriend Barbara). Lebanon; daughters, Frieda Hackler (Chuck), Lebanon, and Teresa Shutters, Lebanon; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Argo, Harriman; sisters-in-law, Mary Young, Kingston, and Delois Young, Rockwood; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 20, in Evans Mortuary chapel, Rockwood. Following the visitation, family and friends went in procession to Millstone Cemetery for graveside services, with the Rev. Jim Baumgardner officiating.
