Wright, Mary Ann - Kingston  
Mary Ann Wright, 61, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born April 30, 1953, in Harriman and lived most of her life in Roane County. Mary Ann retired from TVA-Watts Bar Nuclear Plant in 2006 after 28 years of service. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed quilting, sewing and cooking. Mary Ann was very proud of her whole family, and they brought her great enjoyment throughout her life. She loved watching her daughter, Jennifer, play sports growing up and felt the same joy seeing her granddaughter, Lillian Carter, do the same this past year. Mary Ann also got endless laughter from her times with her granddaughter, Emily Ann. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Cecil Howard and Audrey Millican Carter. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Bobby W. Wright, Kingston; children, Jennifer Ann Nagi and husband Mark, Farragut, Theresa Clark, Ringgold, Ga., Bobby Wright Jr. and wife Vickie, Ringgold, Ga., and Tim Wright, Chickamauga, Ga.; grandchildren, Lillian Carter Nagi and Emily Ann Nagi; sister, Fran Nichols and husband David, Knoxville; sisters-in-law, Joyce Bloom, Signal Mountain, and Lorene Scoggins, Birchwood; several extended family members and special friends. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, in Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston, with funeral service following at 2 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Randy Griffis officiating. Interment will follow the service at Calvary-Hazelwood Cemetery. An online register book can be signed at
