Arthur McNallie, 69, of Harriman, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, in Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge.
He was born June 21, 1943, in Rockwood, to Gipson and Alice Collier McNallie. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an employee for 20 years with Sunbeam Bakery and a manager of frozen food department with Harrell's IGA. He was a six-year member with the Tennessee National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James "Buster" McNallie; and sisters, Reva Givens, Kathleen Vineyard and Wilma Moore.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Carolyn McNallie, Harriman; son, Scott McNallie, Harriman; nieces, Mary Vineyard and husband Mike Forrette, Rockwood, Sandra Wolfe, Knoxville, Audrey Brown and husband Charlie, Oakdale, and Debbie Alford and husband Bob, Harriman; nephew, Kenny McNallie and wife Linda, Rockwood; sister-in-law, Linda Isham and husband James, Harriman, and their children Jamie, Jennifer and David; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Elizabeth Robinson, Harriman; a host of great-nieces and -nephews
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Roane Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ben Whittenbarger officiating. Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, was in charge of arrangements.
