Barbara A. Stinnett, age 74, of Kingston, passed away Oct. 11, 2012, in Parkwest Medical Center, Knoxville. She was a wife, mother and grandmother and was a retired nurse with Harriman Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor Majors and Dorothy Hinds.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James F. Stinnett, a retired barber of Kingston. Barbara has 5 children: son, J.C. Stinnett and wife, Martha; son, Terry Stinnett and wife, Barbara; son, Nick Stinnett; son, Travis Stinnett and wife, Veronica; daughter, Pamela Topmiller and husband, Gary. She has 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Barbara was cremated and her family celebrated her life in her home on Friday, Oct. 12.
