Billy J. Leach

Billy J. Leach, 81, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born April 20, 1932, in LaFollette. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Kingston, where he served as a faithful deacon for many years. He was also a U.S. Army veteran who served his country proudly during the Korean War. He retired from TVA and had more than 58 years of carpentry experience. He was a member of Carpenters Local 50, Knoxville. He enjoyed camping, gardening and was an avid UT Football fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Nell Leach; and sister, Earlene Settles.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Bobbie McEvoy Leach, Kingston; sons, Greg Leach and wife Missy, Kingston, and Brian Leach and wife Kim, Kingston; brothers, Jerry Leach, Gordon Leach, Goshen, Ind., and Raymond Leach and wife Jessie, Warren, Mich.; grandchildren, Amber, Gregory, Hailey and Brian A. Leach, all of Kingston; sister-in-law, Betty Cooper, Kingston; a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 24, in Central Baptist Church, Kingston, with funeral service following at 8 p.m. in the sanctuary, with Bro. Harold Cox officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at Bakers Forge Cemetery, LaFollette, with full military honors. Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston, is in charge of arrangements.
