Bobby Lee "Bob" Williams

Bobby Lee "Bob" Williams, 82, of Clinton, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in Tennova Residential Hospice in Halls.
He was a dedicated deacon and faithful member of South Clinton Baptist Church for more than 60 years. He was well known for his many years of service as manager of South Clinton Auto Parts and as a salesman at the Fox Family Dealerships. He was also a Korean War veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He was known as the "Mayor of Meadowview" at Meadowview Senior Living in Clinton. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Joanne Seward Williams; parents, J.D. Williams and Artie Gose Williams; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Fleeta Williams; and sister and brother-in-law, Edith and James McArthur.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Bill Koch, Becky and Tim Huff, and Karen and Craig Herrell; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary Williams and Tim and Lesa Williams; grandchildren, Travis and Amy Williams, Matthew Harmon, Stephanie and Ryan Manning, Kala Williams and Olivia Herrell; seven stepgrandchildren; two great-grandsons, Bryce and Trent Williams; brother and sister-in-law, J.D. Jr. and June Williams; a host of many other family members and close friends.
The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, in South Clinton Baptist Church, with a funeral following at 8 p.m., Dr. Roger Pugh officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to South Clinton Baptist Church Food Pantry, 1000 Clinch Ave., Clinton, TN 37716.
