Boyd Edgar "Jim" Littleton passed away at his home in Dayton, Ohio, on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012. He was 87 years old.
He was born in Kingston on Feb. 19, 1925, to parents George Martin Littleton and Della Lavada Green. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Wilma K. May.
He is survived by his twin daughters, Darlene Thomas and husband Ted, California, and Charlene Sparks and husband Larry, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amber Sparks and Brian Sparks with wife Joey and great-granddaughters Charley and Brinlee.
He was a U.S. Army
veteran of World War II
, serving as a combat engineer. He was retired civil servant from Wright Patterson Air Force Base and also a retired driver from Ryder Truck Rental in Dayton.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City, Ohio. Magetti Gavin Funeral Home, Old North Dayton, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements.
