Carleton "Carl" Cox, 57, of Harriman, passed away at his home on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, with his family by his side.
He was a member of Trenton Street Baptist Church in Harriman. He was a resource coordinator for Omnivision Services. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family. He enjoyed very must watching his grandchildren play sports. He was an avid UT fan who loved the "Big Orange." He was preceded in death by father, John Wesley Cox; and brother, David Cox.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Doris Cox, Harriman; daughters, Stephanie Kolski (Frank), Kingston, and Whitney Collins (Chris), Kingston; mother, Becky Cox, Harriman; brother, Bobby Cox (Peggy), Harriman; sister, Becky Ann Scandlyn (Steve), Harriman; grandchildren, Zach Parkinson, Ben McClain, Isaac Collins and Sophia Kolski; several nieces, nephews and cousins; a host of special friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, in the chapel of Evans Mortuary, Rockwood. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, in the chapel of Evans Mortuary, with the Rev. Tony Boswell officiating. Concluding services and burial will follow at Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
