Carol ""Annie"" Smith, 65, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Sept. 18, 1948, in Whitesburg, Ky. She was an avid bowler and loved taking trips to Cades Cove and the Smoky Mountains. She also enjoyed working in flowers, but most precious to her was spending quality time with her family. She had worked in the past as a van driver for the Michael Dunn Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tanzel and Nola Davis Collins; and brother, Denny Collins.
Survivors include loving husband of 49 years, Jack Smith, Kingston; daughters, Janene Cofer, Kingston, and Connie Morton and husband Jack, Kingston; grandchildren, Jeffrey Smith, Kingston, Christina Reyes, Goodlettesville, John Reyes, Kingston, and Darlene Beasley, Knoxville; brother, Randy Collins and wife Jan, Kingston; sister, Jackie Spoor and Rodeo Marquez, Kingston; special niece, Sabrina Humphrey, Knoxville; a host of extended family and friends.
The family received friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 7, in Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston, with funeral service following at 5 p.m. in the chapel. Graveside service immediately followed at Bethel-Fairview Cemetery. An online register book can be signed at www.FrakerFuneralHome.net.
